Been a fan of Mozilla Firefox since the day I started using it. Just fell in love with the features and the best part is I am still in love ūüėõ

Now about the record attempt, the guys back at Mozilla, along with the much anticipated release of Firefox 3, also want to set a Guiness Record of the ‚Äúmost downloaded software in 24 hours‚ÄĚ. With a dedicated fan base spread across continents, I don’t see this not happening, they should easily be able to beat the current record.

Just to make sure that you remember to download your favourite browser the day it is officially released, the folks back at Mozilla have created a pledge page on Spread Firefox site. Make sure you go there, pledge your support so that you can be reminded about being a part of that record.
Download Day
Don’t be evil! At least this time around. Go get firefox.

Another Windows error – Calcuator can calculate

Posted in Evil, Microsoft, Technology with tags , , on November 13, 2007 by urdamned

We love our evil buddies at microsoft. But they recently added to their list of errors with a discovery that windows basic calculator cant calculate correctly.  It doesnt even follow the basic rule that multiplication preceeds addition.
Check this out, try doing a simple calculation 4+4*4, it gives an answer 32 where as actually it must have given 20.

Silly eh? But its true! Check it yourself.

Luckily the scientific calculator option works correctly.

MS Excel cant Multiply

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , on September 29, 2007 by urdamned

Ah well, what do you know…our very own MS Excel has an evil bug. Yes, and this bug means Excel cant multiply. Excel 2007 thinks that 850*77.1 is 100,000. What’s the correct answer? Anybody? Anybody? Anybody?…… Right, it should be 65,535.¬† Not just 850*77.1 any equation which gives a value of 65,535 will be shown as 100,000. ms

Evil eh……??? Try it out…
