F word in your bill?

How often have you ordered for a nice meal and got surprised when the final bill came? Once? Many times?
But you surely wouldnt have been as surprised or should I say shocked as the 10 firends who went to Joe Delucci’s Italian restaurant in Bird Street, Lichfield, Staffordshire and found this in their bill:

Yeah, you read it correctly its the F word coupled with a few other beauties 😛

The poor souls are just demanding an apology and a small compensation.What would you have done??? I would surely have some choice words to say to them 😉 Evil bill eh???

Pope Pic Goof

The pastor of a parish in Padua, Italy is running a Christmas campaign on the importance of forgiving people. Unfortunately, he mistakenly used a doctored photograph of John Paul II in which the late pontiff’s head had been replaced by that of former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi.The priest decided that for his weekly bulletin the famous image of Pope John Paul II forgiving his attempted assassin Ali Agca would be the ”most eloquent illustration of our theme”, according to ANSA news.

He discovered the modified photo in an internet search and put it into the bulletin thinking it was the original image. He did not notice that the Pope’s face had been replaced by the smiling head of Berlusconi.

In the altered photograph, Ali Agca was also wearing a t-shirt with the slogan “Kill the Enthusiasm.”

”It was an unforgivable error,” the apologetic priest told parishioners.

Oh Shoaib !!

I admire Shoaib Malik as a wonderful cricketer and Iam sure he would do a great job as the captain of the young Pakistani Side…But a final loss to India knowing very well of the repercussions back home can make a intelligent cricketer look absurd.

Watch the Shoaib interview during the final presentation of the T20 World Cup…where he got a lot of things including the match itself wrong…

“I want to thank you back home Pakistan and where the MUSLIM lives all over the world”

Now that statement works on the only assumption that the Pakistani team represents all the Muslims in the world….very goofy to even think of mixing up sports and politics…

Especially when there are more muslims in India than in Pakistan…and each one of them rooting for India. A muslim guy smashes the ball around taking the attack to the opposition in the very first over. His brother joins him later with a superlative performance and the man of the match award. A muslim superstar goes all the way to SA with his son to cheer the fall of each Pakistani wicket and the song from his movie entertains the crowd and invigorates the players.

I can understand the pressure Shoaib was in after losing the match yet the fundamental assumption of Pakistani=Muslim is flawed. Weren’t the Christians, Sikhs and Hindus in Pakistan rooting for their win ????

Oops Bush does it again….

US President George W Bush has done it again. This time the presidential faux pas claims the apostle of non-violence, Nelson Mandela.

The president’s latest faux pas took place as he tried to draw a link between the revered former South African leader and the sectarian violence in Iraq. And in true Bush style he made Nelson Mandela a victim of Saddam Hussein’s brutality.

President Bush is known for making gaffes. Earlier this year he mixed up Austria with Australia in a speech in Sydney. Another Bush gaffe took place when his unstatesmanlike “Yo, Blair” greeting to Tony Blair at the G8 summit in St Petersburg made news last year.

After this startling comment made by the American President, the South African authorities were besieged with calls. Many people feared the death of the country’s first black president and Nobel Peace Prize winner.

Soon after reports of his demise were highly exaggerated, Achmat Dangor, the CEO of the Nelson Mandela Foundation said, “It’s out there. All we can do is reassure people, especially South Africans, that President Mandela is alive”.
